God’s purpose for humanity has always been that we truly know Him. He desires a loving relationship with us. He desires that we walk in His ways and develop a righteous character. He desires that we grow in the grace and knowledge of Him so that His life is seen in all that we say and do.
God is raising up a great company of women to shine the light of Christ into the darkness.

Chapter Eight: God's Perspective or Mine?
We are God’s instruments of grace, redemption, and healing for the world. If we are going to take God’s Light to the world around us, His Light must shine in our hearts first. We must acknowledge the God of the Bible, His sovereignty, and His providence in the affairs of men. We must not forget or forsake the Hand of God in history, that God rules in the affairs of men.
We must not forget or forsake the Word of God as we impact government, economics, social and cultural norms, and the education of our children. America’s heritage of Christian character, the Providence of God in our founding documents, and the Biblical principles of self and civil government have shaped our nation. This heritage will only be preserved if we continue to surrender to Him these sectors of society. It starts in the Church. We must seek God, listen for His voice, and do what He is calling us to do.
