A woman who knows herself is able to give of herself to others. She is able to view herself through the lens of the Spirit and believe that when God said, “it is good” He meant it. She looks in the mirror of God’s love reminding her of the beauty she possesses as a significant child of God. As women celebrate their uniqueness, they are able to take the mask off, understand their own …and other's strengths and weaknesses.
When we know ourselves and see ourselves from God’s perspective, we are able to compliment, see the good, and encourage other women in their successes. This view brings healing between women and bonds them with strength because they begin to see each other as God sees them through eyes of the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:16 - So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now!
Psalm 139 13-16 – For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me when as yet there was none of them.
You are God’s work of art. Before He formed you in your mother’s womb, He knew you. Before He laid the foundations of the earth, before the beginning of time, He already had you in mind. He created you as a unique treasure, a beautiful work of art. He knows who you are. He sees your worth and uniqueness and beauty. What you believe in your heart will determine how you view yourself.
Proverbs 23:7 states that “for as she thinks in her heart, so is she” (adapted from the AMP)
No matter how worthless or how unlovely we may feel, He comes close, drawing us to Himself without reservation or judgment. The Bible tells us that “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”
Romans 8:1. There is no accusation, no blame ~ only unconditional love as He transforms you into His own image.
